Liam Hemsworth reportedly has few nice words to say about ex-wife Miley Cyrus following their highly-publicised split last year.

It seems Liam Hemsworth is not very happy with ex-wife Miley Cyrus.

The pair met while filming 2010’s The Last Song and were an on-again-off-again item until their marriage in December of 2018.

Just a few months later, the couple announced their split and their divorce was finalised early this year.

A source has now told Us Weekly that Cyrus, 27, is no longer in the good graces of the 30-year-old Hunger Games star.

“Liam kind of has a low opinion of Miley at this point,” said the source. “He was really hurt by their split.”

The insider revealed that the two “haven’t talked much” since their divorce and that Hemsworth was “hurt” by how quickly his ex moved on.

After the divorce, Cyrus engaged in a brief relationship with Kaitlynn Carter before striking up a romance with singer Cody Simpson, which ended recently.

Meanwhile, Hemsworth has been linked to two fellow Aussies since his marriage breakdown: actress Maddison Brown and model Gabriella Brooks.

His fling with Melbourne-born Brown fizzled, but Hemsworth and Brooks are still together.

Speaking on podcast Call Her Daddy recently, Cyrus similarly described the divorce as “traumatising.”

“At first when I got out of my long time relationship and it didn’t work … that was really like traumatising,” she told host Alexandra Cooper.

“Now I’m in a place where I look at it and love it and respect it.”

She went on to say she struggled with the public’s reaction to her moving on.

“I feel like as a woman, I felt like I was villainised for moving on. I really think that’s not acceptable,” she said.

“They tried to make me seem disloyal which is so against my f***ing character … my character is my everything, that is my foundation, what I thrive on.”

Earlier this year, Hemsworth opened up ever-so-slightly to Men’s Health Australia about the break-up.

“This last six months, honestly, for keeping my head level and just staying balanced, I’d say exercise has been big for me,” he admitted. When asked if he’s in a “rebuilding” phase of his life, Hemsworth said that it was a “good way to put it.”

Meanwhile, it seems as though the feeling is mutual between the pair, with Cyrus appearing to take a dig at her ex in her recently-released single.

Cyrus dropped the self-directed music video for Midnight Sky last week, and it features some very pointed lyrics.

“It’s been a long time since I felt this good on my own / Lotta years went by with my hands tied up in your ropes,” she sings in the first verse, before belting out the chorus: “I was born to run, I don’t belong to anyone, oh no / I don’t need to be loved by you.”
