As the MCG fills with an expected world record crowd for a women’s sporting event, there was almost no other choice than Roar singer Katy Perry to kick off the Women’s T20 World Cup Final.
And the music megastar
It started somewhat strangely with Perry appearing from behind a series of backup dancers, wearing cricket bats.
It follows in the footsteps of her famous Super Bowl performance with “Left Shark”.
