Cardi B has rushed to defend her daughter from abusive online comments

Cardi B has locked her daughter’s Instagram account after being alerted to abusive comments.

If we removed all the trolls from the internet, the world would be a better place. Alas, the only thing we can do is hide our content — which is exactly what Cardi B has done after trolls came for her daughter with husband, Offset.

In September 2020, Cardi B launched an Instagram account for her then two-year-old daughter, Kulture (managed by Cardi, of course). While there’s probably not much need for a someone so young to have social media, I really can’t deny that she is adorable, and definitely has more style than me — so I can’t pretend I didn’t enjoy it.

Now, that small pleasure has been taken away by trolls going nuts on Kulture’s photos, leaving truly vile comments like “big head squid”, “obese”, “such a mistake child” and even “you thought you was something”.

Say it with me now: EW. The girl is three.

Cardi was alerted to the abuse when one of her fans took screenshots of the gross comments and shared them on Twitter with the caption: “This is Kulture comments right now … they really have some nerve trying to play police on here.”

After seeing the post, Cardi slammed the trolls in a since deleted Tweet, admitting that she hadn’t been checking her daughter’s account, but would now be making it private to prevent further abuse.

“I don’t know wtf is going on but I hope y’all moms die for giving birth to you hoe ass weirdos,” she added.

Considering Cardi and Offset just had a new baby boy six months ago, it’s no surprise that she wasn’t able to pay close attention to social media.

Despite the couple taking (another) short break in 2020, during which time Cardi even filed for divorce, she soon withdrew the papers to stay with her rapper husband and welcome their new child.

Still, can we all just agree that trolling is weird and bad, and trolling a child is even worse?
