Joe Biden came into office promising to govern for all Americans, even those who voted for Trump - after 100 days how is he doing?

As Joe Biden took office following four divisive years of Republican predecessor Donald Trump, the 46th President vowed to unite America and govern as a centrist.

Mr Biden tackled the crisis of coronavirus head on and his first one hundred days in office saw the success of the US vaccine rollout and the passing of the massive $1.9 trillion Covid stimulus bill, and with these achievements, support from the American public regardless of their voting habits.

The 78-year-old has his challenges up against him however with a growing immigration crisis on the Mexican border, Republican opposition to his infrastructure bill, and brewing crises with Russia and China.

The Telegraph's US Editor Nick Allen examines how Mr Biden faces the challenges of dismantling Trump's legacy, and healing a divided nation.
