To mark rapper Nicki Minaj’s 34th birthday, her boyfriend, hip hop singer/songwriter Mill Meek flew her to the tropical islands of Turks and Caicos in the Caribbean.
And to crown the moment, Minaj stripped down to a swimsuit that perhaps only she would wear, complete with killer heels.
“On an island wit a pretty lil hitta on her bday,” he captioned the photo.
Minaj also told her fans where she was.
The first public action between Minaj and Meek was on Twitter in 2009, according to capitalextra.com. In 2010, Meek made her feelings clear, tweeting: #MYGOALS 2 GET @NICKIMINAJ B4 SOMEBODY ELSE DO!!!!!!!
It was only in 2013 that the pair were seen together in Instagram posts.
In November 2014, Nicki Minaj officially split from Safaree Samuels after a 10-year relationship.
Meek was in prison and rumours began circulating that Minaj was going to see him.
Despite them appearing together on posts even in February 2015, Minaj still refused to say she had a new lover.
“Sometimes we hang out, and when we hang out, we have fun. [laughs] This is what I want to say about him: People think for some strange reason that we just started becoming friends recently. We’ve been friends for a very, very long time, and he’s been around for a lot of things that I’ve gone through. And that’s all I’ll say about that,” Minaj told Vogue.
However, the following month Meek told a 20,000 strong audience that he had managed to “bag” Minaj because he was from Philadephia.
