Streaming giant Netflix has quietly removed a viral moment from its live special, which featured Kim Kardashian being taunted by the audience.Netflix has done Kim Kardashian a solid by editing out the boos she received during her appearance at NFL star Tom Brady’s roast over the weekend.

The reality-TV-star-turned-mogul was relentlessly booed on Sunday when she took to the podium at the live taping of The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, during which fellow stars onstage, such as Kevin Hart, had to urge the rowdy audience to quiet down and show some respect.

The jeers left the 43-year-old looking visibly annoyed on the stage as she tried to deliver her jokes during the live broadcast.

“Alright, alright, alright,” she said at the time as she tried to soldier on among the booing.

“I’m really here tonight for Tom,” said Kardashian, who publicly addressed their rumoured romance for the first time. “I wasn’t going to come tonight, but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I might.”

“Speaking of Tom and I dating, I know there were some rumours that we were, and I’d never say if we did or not, I’d just release the tape,” she added, referring to her infamous sex tape with then-boyfriend Ray J that was leaked in 2007.

“I’ll give you the same advice I give all of my exes: good luck knowing the best is behind you.”

Another embarrassing moment involving Kardashian at the roast was when she was the punchline of a graphic joke made by Tony Hinchcliffe, which has not been removed from the special despite online claims it was “incredibly misogynistic”.

“A whale’s vagina, which reminds me, Kim Kardashian’s here,” Hinchcliffe said when discussing Will Ferrell’s movie Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and its famous “whale’s vagina” line.

The camera then panned to Kardashian who smiled uncomfortably as the audience laughed. However, those online did not find the joke funny.

“S**t shaming women in front of a crowd of people and making women the butt of a joke for absolutely no reason is so disrespectful,” wrote one viewer, while another added, “And what’s the punchline… misogyny?”

“That’s a pretty low blow, even for a roast,” yet added another. “S**tshaming and misogyny isn’t funny at all.”

Brady also took the opportunity to roast Kardashian when it was his turn to have the final say on the night.

His joke came at the expense of the star’s controversial ex-husband Kanye West, who is the father of her four children: North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4.

“I know Kim was terrified to be here tonight,” Brady began. “Not because of this, but because her kids are at home with their dad.”
