Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s surrogate goes into labour

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s fourth child is officially on the way.

The famous couple have reportedly rushed to hospital to be there for their surrogate, who has gone into labour with their son.

The new arrival will be a sibling to their daughter North, 5, Saint 3, and Chicago West, 1.
 

Kim, 38, suffered through difficult pregnancies with North and Saint, so turned to surrogacy for her third and fourth children.

She had battled with a life-threatening condition, placenta accreta, and had been warned by her doctor not to carry her own baby again.

The news that the fourth Kardashian-West child is due imminently comes just days after rumours swirled online that he’d already been born.

On May 6, the same day she hit the red carpet at the Met Gala with Kanye, Kim took to Twitter to set the record straight.

“Wait just saw news our baby boy came but that’s not true.,” she wrote.

“It’s Met Monday, I’m in NYC. I would be at the hospital, lol.”

In late April, the reality TV star threw a lavish “zen”-like baby shower to prepare for baby number four, and estimated the date of her son’s birth.

“I thought it was kind of ridiculous to have a fourth baby shower. But I thought I’m freaking the f**k out having a fourth kid,” Kim told her friends and family.

“So, because I’m freaking out and the baby is coming in, like, two weeks, I thought what better way to celebrate than to have a little CBD.”

CBD is short for cannabidiol, the chemical compound in the cannabis plant. It’s known for promoting relaxation and has been embraced in health and beauty products in the US and Europe.
