The 'Glee' star was found dead in a park near his San Fernando Valley home on Jan. 30.

In the wake of Mark Salling’s suicide, the child pornography case against the actor has officially been dismissed.

According to court documents obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, a U.S. District Judge granted the dismissal request from the U.S. Attorney’s office. However, the case was dismissed “without prejudice” per the prosecutor’s request, meaning that it can be refiled in the future.

The Glee star was found dead in a park near his San Fernando Valley home on Jan. 30. Officials confirmed his cause of death was asphyxia as a result of hanging.

Salling’s death came just a few weeks prior to his four-to-seven-year prison sentencing for possession of child pornography. The actor pleaded guilty in December and agreed to serve the jail time followed by 20 years of supervised release. Additionally, he agreed to pay $50,000 in restitution fees to each victim and register as a sex offender.
