Netflix has exciting news for Gilmore Girls fans

IF you were hoping to brush up on yourGilmore Girlsbefore the long-awaited reboot of the series debuts on Netflix later this year, you’re in luck.

According to a Netflix spokesman, “On July 1, all seven seasons of Gilmore Girls will land globally on Netflix, paving the way for the new original, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life”.

Yep, you can spend this winter bingeing on all 153 episodes of the show, which originally ran from 2000-2006, before you get stuck into the new adventures of Rory, Lorelai and the other Stars Hollow residents.

Your first look at the Gilmore Girls revival

The Netflix reboot of the series is titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and will take the form of four telemovies — one for each season of the year. Netflix is yet to announce a release date for the specials, which are expected to debut sometime later in 2016.
