    Nissan sued Carlos Ghosn in a Japanese court, seeking $90 million in damages to recoup costs related to the former chairman’s alleged financial misconduct.

    TOKYO—Nissan Motor Co. sued Carlos Ghosn in a Japanese court Wednesday, seeking $90 million in damages to recoup costs related to the former chairman’s alleged financial misconduct.

    The suit is the latest in a series of legal broadsides by Nissan and Mr. Ghosn after he smuggled himself out of Japan in a box used for concert equipment. Mr. Ghosn was facing multiple criminal charges of financial misconduct before he fled in late December for Lebanon. He said he decided to flee because he didn’t have confidence in the Japanese...
