Teenager, Quarami Serunkuma, stabbed to death in front of ‘screaming’ kids, metres from school

A TEENAGE boy shouted “he’s going to stab me” before he was murdered in front of screaming schoolmates outside of a London school.

The boy, reportedly named as 15-year-old Quamari Barnes, was attacked outside of Capital City Academy in northwest London yesterday.

Witnesses have described how frightened children ran screaming in panic after teenage boy was killed as school ended for the day.

Police confirmed a man has been charged with murder, reports The Sun.

Ali Tas, 20, from north London, is due to appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court today charged with murder.

He is also charged with common assault against a 20-year-old man on the same evening.

A police spokesman said: “A murder investigation has been launched following the death of a teenage boy in Willesden.

“Police were called just before 3.30pm on Monday by London Ambulance Service to a 15-year-old male stabbed in Doyle Gardens.

“Officers attended and the boy was suffering stab wounds. The boy was taken by paramedics to hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Next of kin are aware.

“The Homicide and Major Crime Command has been informed and are investigating.

“While officers believe they know who the deceased is, they await formal identification.”

According to witnesses, the victim is understood to have shouted “he’s going to stab me” moments before he was attacked.

Police say the victim, who has not yet been formally identified, was found with multiple stab wounds in the Willesden area of London.

He was rushed to hospital by paramedics, but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

Witnesses have described how everything “went quiet” moments before the chaos following the stabbing.
