World number one Novak Djokovic fought back f-rom a set down to take control against Roberto Bautista Agut when rain stopped play at the French Open.

An out-of-sorts Djokovic recovered an early deficit to lead 3-6 6-4 4-1 when the fourth-round match was interrupted for a second and final time on Tuesday.

Second seed Agnieszka Radwanska and sixth seed Simona Halep were both beaten in the women's draw.

Serena Williams' and Andy Murray's matches were postponed until Wednesday.

Top seed Williams was scheduled to play Elina Svitolina in round four after the conclusion of Djokovic's match, with Murray then due to face Ric-hard Gasquet in their quarter-final.

Only two hours' play was possible on Tuesday, meaning half of the men's and women's last-16 matches have yet to be completed with five days of the schedule remaining.

'I'm just so surprised and angry'

Second seed Radwanska led 6-2 3-0 when play resumed on Tuesday

Radwanska had been in c-harge against world number 102 Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria when play was halted on Sunday evening, but lost the first 10 games on Tuesday's resumption.

The Pole eventually went down 2-6 6-3 6-3 after requiring treatment to her hand on a damp Court Suzanne Lenglen.

"I'm just so surprised and angry that we have to play in the rain," said Radwanska. "It's a Grand Slam. How can you allow players to play in the rain?"

Australia's Sam Stosur saw off fellow former finalist Halep of Romania 7-6 (7-0) 6-3.

"I have no words," said Halep, the 2014 runner-up. "It was impossible to play in my opinion."

She added: "No one cares about the players in my opinion. I don't care that I lost the match today, but I was close to getting injured with my back, so that's a big problem."
