Oprah Winfrey has skirted rumours about her using the weight loss drug Ozempic while explaining her dramatic body transformation.

Oprah Winfrey is sharing some insight into her dramatic physical transformation, seemingly implying that she’s not cutting any corners with weight loss trends like Ozempic.

The TV icon turned heads while walking the red carpet for the premiere of The Color Purple at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

Winfrey, 69, fittingly wore a bright purple gown, which highlighted her curves and slimmed-down figure.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, host Kevin Frazier told Winfrey she was looking “divine in purple” and then asked, “What’s going on? Because if this is WeightWatchers, please, sign me up tonight!”

“Well it’s not one thing, it’s everything … and I intend to keep it that way,” she replied, noting that she “was on that treadmill” hours before the premiere kicked off.

Winfrey’s outing comes amid ongoing social media chatter about her health and fitness transformation.

After seeing recent pics of the talk show host out and about in public, many have been questioning whether she’s joined the bandwagon of celebrities using Ozempic to slim down.

However, while the Queen of All Media previously admitted that she once contemplated going that route, she said in September that she ultimately decided against it.

“When I first started hearing about the weight loss drugs, at the same time, I was going through knee surgery, and I felt, ‘I’ve got to do this on my own,’” she explained on an episode of Oprah Daily’s The Life You Want: The State of Weight, which featured a panel of obesity specialists.

“Because if I take the drug, that’s the easy way out.”

Winfrey, who noted that she’s been on “this journey for most of [her] life,” has been candid about her appearance over the years and even became a WeightWatchers ambassador in 2015.

“WeightWatchers is easier than any other program I’ve ever been on. It’s a lifestyle, a way of eating, and a way of living that’s so freeing. You never feel like you are on a diet, and it works,” she said in a press release at the time.

“I can honestly tell you I struggle no more. I’m eating everything I love — tacos, pasta. I’ve never felt deprived.”

The media mogul shed more than 40 pounds when she first joined the program, and has returned to WeightWatchers through the years whenever she’s felt the need to “reset.”

Per Inc.com, the company now has plans to expand into the prescription drug business and offer “doctor-led access to prescription medication for those who need it.”

“We needed to be the first to be proud and loud about the fact that we got it wrong in the past,” WeightWatchers CEO Sima Sistani told CNN last month.

“What we are now saying is we know better and it’s on us to do better so that we can help people feel positive and destigmatise this conversation around obesity.”

The Oprah Winfrey Show alum previously revealed on her website, Oprah.com, that her diet is “healthful but far from dull.”

According to a post titled Oprah’s 7-Day Food Diary, she eats about 1,700 “well-balanced calories daily” spread out across three main meals and two snacks.

Winfrey focuses on consuming “lots of fresh foods prepared simply” in order to keep her sodium “well within recommended levels.”

In a separate article, the Build the Life You Want author noted she does 45 minutes of aerobic exercise six days a week.

Her morning workouts usually consist of “power walking on a graded treadmill (up to 10 per cent), jogging, elliptical exercise, stair-stepping or rowing.”

She will also do another 20 minutes of cardio before dinner on most nights, and strength trains four or five times a week.
